James Wilson
President of Brancorth
James Wilson is an orthopaedic and medical device veteran with more than three decades of executive experience, including 25 years of progressive leadership in orthopaedics across the globe. His consulting firm, Brancorth Medical Inc., assists start up, emerging and established ortho and medical device technology companies reach their strategic, regulatory, compliance, sales, marketing and distribution goals. Jim provides complete consulting services for the ortho industry, including expertise in the entire medical device product lifecycle. He specializes in market identification, strategic positioning, distribution and commercialization of innovative orthopaedic products and medical devices. His experience in international markets, along with his extensive knowledge and insight into this increasingly complex and competitive environment, allows him to identify the challenges and opportunities in the "new normal". Working in an integrated team approach that aligns tactical execution with effective strategy, Jim's expertise and deep understanding of the entire ortho industry helps organizations move to the next level. Jim has served as Chairman for MEDEC, the national association representing the medical device technology industry in Canada and is a founder of the Canadian Orthopaedic Care Strategy Group.
Patricia Hamara
Financial Officer
Patricia Hamara has over 10 years of executive management experience with a primary focus in the financial sector. She has been a consultant and advisor to companies in the services sector for well over a decade focusing on managerial and organizational initiatives and needs. Patricia brings strong management experience in business development, operational support, customer service, compliance, executive training and group leadership. Patricia holds a number of business certifications ranging from Professional Selling Skills, M.R. Communication Consultants, Practical Management of Canada to Life Management Coaching. She has been involved with various not-for-profit organizations as Executive Treasurer over the past 25 years. Patricia earned her honours degree at the University of Toronto, Victoria College.
